Dr. Carol L. and Robert E. Daihl Scholarship

This scholarship is established to honor Dr. Carol L. Daihl and her husband, Robert E. Daihl. Dr. Carol L. Daihl graduated from Towson State College in 1965 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She taught biology for over 30 years at Catonsville Community College. Dr. Daihl also taught a biology class on the College of the Air produced by Channel 67 of Maryland Public Television. Dr. Daihl's biology class was the first class ever to be filmed in color and was continually broadcast each year to Maryland students for over 20 years. Robert H. Daihl was a member of the faculty of the College of Science and Mathematics. During Mr. Daihl's 30 year teaching career at Towson, he taught physics and biology. His most enjoyable teaching experiences involved working with students during the time they were student teaching. By establishing this scholarship, Dr. Daihl honors her and her husband's legacy at Towson University.
