Maureen graduated from Springfield College in 1994 with a BS in Education.
She was a diver for the Springfield swim team, and was the team captain during her junior and senior years. She was an NCAA qualifier at the Division II level each of her final three years at Springfield. She was also a finalist in both the one- and three-meter boards in the New England Conference. She held the diving records at Springfield on the one-meter and three-meter boards for six years.
Maureen began her career as the Towson University Dive Coach in 1998. She created the Tigerfish Aquatic Club with her husband Pat Mead in 1999 and since then, she has served as the Director of the Tigerfish program.
Maureen and her husband Pat have four young children, who swim and compete for Tigerfish.
