Personal Trainers will create individualized programs designed to improve your overall fitness and assist you on your way to a healthier lifestyle.
CRS offers individual and group training packages. Group packages allow you to train with a buddy, save money and receive the same great experience with our certified staff of trainers! See below for Personal Training packages and pricing.
Our team consists of nationally certified and experienced personal trainers who are students here at Towson University. Together, our staff compiles over 10 years of experience training a variety of clientele.
Who is eligible to participate?
Personal Training is available to TU students, faculty, staff, alumni and spouses of TU affiliates. Alumni must first purchase the annual Alumni membership. Spouses of TU affiliates are available for the Group Packages only - with the other member of the group being the TU affiliated spouse. All participants must be at least 18 years of age and able to present his/her TU OneCard for Fitness Center entry.
What to expect
All packages begin with a comprehensive Fitness Assessment to provide you and your trainer a baseline of your current level of fitness. With these results, your trainer will construct an exercise regimen specifically designed to achieve your personal fitness goals. Based on availability within your schedules, you and your trainer will determine session days and times. All personal training sessions will take place in the C.R.i.B. Fitness Center during regular hours of operation.

How to register for personal training:
1. Download the personal training packet (currently unavailable) online or pick one up in Burdick Hall, Room 151.
2. Pay at the University Union Ticket Office and staple the original receipt to your registration packet (Please keep a copy for yourself).
3. Return the completed packet to Burdick Hall, Room 151.
4. Once received, we will contact you to set up a session with a personal trainer based on mutual availability.

Body composition, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, muscular strength and blood pressure are measured to provide insight to your current level of fitness. Our trained personnel administer the assessments to ensure accuracy and consistency between tests.

Our Quick Test option is a great alternative for individuals who wish to test their level of fitness in just one particular area. These single tests, while quick, will provide you with accurate information to assist you in meeting your fitness goals. Choose between body composition, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility and muscular strength.
$10 student / $10 non-student
Want to learn your results after time spent with your trainer? Following the completion of a package, clients may purchase a comprehensive fitness assessment to measure your results.
Free Fitness Services
New to the Fitness Center? Not sure how to safely operate or adjust the equipment or even which equipment works which muscles? It can be overwhelming, but we're here to help! Our trained and knowledgeable floor staff are available during all hours of operation to assist you in learning about our facility and its equipment.
We offer free blood pressure screenings to all students, faculty, staff and Alumni members. Contact the floor staff on duty to have your BP taken.
Nutrition is a vital component of overall health and plays a key role in obtaining your fitness goals.
