Tickets, Name Cards, Programs and Diplomas

Commencement Tickets

Each graduate who participates in the Sping Commencement exercises will receive FOUR tickets. Only participants in the ceremony will receive tickets.

You'll receive your tickets in your Commencement Instruction packet when you pick up your cap and gown at the University Store, or when you receive your cap and gown in the mail. Those students wearing previously purchased regalia must have it approved by April 19th. Once approved, students will receive FOUR tickets.

Additional Ticket Pick-up

The distribution of extra commencement tickets will take place on Tuesday, May 14th. A valid and functioning One Card is required for ticket pick up. Distribution will be on a first come/first served basis while supplies last. Please be aware that there may not be extra tickets for all commencement ceremonies, so please monitor the commencement website for the most recent information regarding tickets.

Locations for ticket distribution are as follows:

8:30 am - 11:00 am Chesapeake Room - Third Floor of University Union
11:00 am - 4: 30 pm Auxiliary Services Business Office - First Floor of University Union

All guests entering the arena will need a ticket. This includes children of all ages. Any seating that is being held/reserved in the arena must be released 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony to seat other guests.

Name Cards

An index card printed with your name and address will be given to you with your Commencement tickets. If the address on the front of the card is incorrect, please make changes on the reverse of the card. Also, make sure to correct your address immediately in the Student Center at http://sa/selfservices and click > online services so your diploma will be sent to the correct address.

Please bring this card with you to Commencement exercises. You will need to hand the card to the reader as you cross the stage.

Commencement Programs

Programs will be distributed to participants free of charge at the ceremony. The Commencement Program recognizes each graduate, listing each degree recipient by degree, department and date.

Diplomas

Diplomas are not distributed during the Commencement ceremony.
