The Counseling Center offers peer education programs related to body image, drug and alcohol use, sexual assault, and wellness and self care. Undergraduate students receive training and provide programming around these issues.
Peer educators are leaders, role models and teachers. The peer education experience gives students the chance to educate their peers about the importance of making healthy decisions, and helps them to gain public speaking skills, increase confidence, build rapport with classmates and faculty, and take on an important leadership role on campus and in the community.
