Gifts to the Towson University Foundation that are made online by credit card and are received by midnight on December 31, 2013, will be processed in this calendar year for tax purposes. Any online gifts received after midnight will be credited to 2014. Gifts received by mail and postmarked no later than December 31, 2013, will be credited in this calendar year for tax purposes. Please note that in order to ensure compliance with IRS regulations, credit card payments received by mail December 21-31 will be charged and credited in 2014.
How to Make a Gift
All funds received in support of Towson University are placed under the management of the Towson University Foundation, Inc. The Foundation’s mission is to ensure that gifts and contributions are utilized to benefit the institution as requested by the donor.
Outright gifts can be made using cash, checks or money orders made payable to the Towson University Foundation, Inc. Or, you may make a gift using a credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover) by calling the Development Office at 410-704-3375 or clicking the link below that will direct you to Towson's secure online giving site.
Recurring gifts: an opportunity to make gifts to the university via the Towson University Foundation directly from your checking or savings account. An electronic transfer through the Automated Clearing House Network (or "ACH") will enable you to make recurring deductions on the date and in the amount you choose.
