A 13 week course preparing students to take the paper-based and internet-based TOEFL test designed to prepare you for the Institutional TOEFL test for admission to Towson University. The course includes 40 hours of instruction during which focuses on in-depth study of the reading, listening, speaking, and writing components of the iBT TOEFL examination.  Attention is paid to the integrated  and critical thinking skills necessary for success.

 

TOEFL Preparation classes are offered each semester. Class meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30PM to 9:30PM.

  • Fall 2015 Dates: September 8 to November 12, 2015
  • Spring 2016 Dates: February 2 to April 14, 2016
  • Summer 2016 Dates: June 7 to July 28, 2016

To apply, complete an application and send in a $25 application fee.

Paper-based TOEFL Exam

 

Each semester Towson ELC offers the Institutional TOEFL exam. This exam is only accepted at Towson University.

  • Fall 2015: Saturday, November 21
  • Spring 2016: Saturday, May 30
  • Summer 2016: Saturday, August 6

PARKING

As soon as you register for the course, you may get your Towson OneCard, which gives you access to all campus facilities, in addition to purchasing a parking permit for Evening Students. Please carefully read the important information below about parking on the Towson University campus so that you do not get a ticket or have your car towed. Campus Parking Map

Evening Students
Commuter students who need to visit the campus during evening hours after 3:00pm are eligible to purchase an Evening permit. Students with Evening permits may park in Commuter and Overflow areas at the Towson Center and in designated Overflow areas of the West Village Garage after 3:00pm Monday – Thursday.

Evening permits are also valid in Faculty/Staff lots after the posted hours at the lot. Students who have Evening permits but wish to park on campus during the day must park in a designated Visitor area and pay the prevailing rate.
