History majors are encouraged to enroll in study abroad programs offered around the world. Credits earned in history courses while studying abroad can be applied toward the history major. Before students go abroad they should fill out a Study Abroad Equivalency Form (DOCX) to make sure courses taken abroad will count toward their history major.

Professors in the history department frequently lead trips abroad. Other study abroad opportunities can be found at the Study Abroad Office.
