Towson University’s beautifully landscaped, 328-acre campus is a blend of traditional and modern architecture, open space, woods and streams. Within walking distance of campus is the town of Towson with its tree-lined residential streets, restaurants, bookstores, movies and shopping.
The Glen Arboretum is a treasured campus and community resource located
adjacent to Smith and Van Bokkelen halls. The Glen's 12 acres of
woods are an educational and recreational resource for both the campus and community. The Trees of Towson is a 30-minute self-guided walking tour that highlights some of the oldest and newest trees on campus. It begins in back of Scarborough Hall.
