You must submit your Participation Agreement and $300 fee
before you can activate your NetID. Please allow sufficient mailing time
for your agreement and enrollment fee to be processed by University
Towson will communicate with you using your official TU student
computing and email account, known as your NetID. This account provides you with access to:
Your Towson email—Webmail Powered by Google
Network file storage and Web publishing space
Wireless networks on campus
Towson Online Services for bill payment and online to-do lists
Blackboard for online courses
Off-campus access to library databases
It is imperative that you activate your NetID as soon as possible. Check your Towson email regularly for important information about your transition to TU, including To-Do List emails and other university communications.
When prompted, enter your last name, seven-digit Towson student ID number and date of birth. Your student ID number is located on the Offer of Admission letter you received. If you cannot locate it, contact University Admissions at 410-704-2113.
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process.

Students—not parents—should activate their TU account. This will help the student remember his or her password and learn how to access the system. Don’t forget to check your TU email regularly for important information about your transition to TU.
How We Will Communicate After July 31, 2014 Deadline: July 31
Effective July 31, we will no longer communicate with
you at your personal email address.
Towson University departments will begin communicating with you using
TU NetID/TU email account. Notifications range in subjects
and include topics such as billing, class scheduling, notifications from
your professor, student club information, student activities on campus,
etc. If you are not already doing so, you must check your TU email
account regularly so that you are aware of and you can respond to these
notifications as necessary.
