Freshman Transition Program To-Do List

In order to make your transition to Towson University as smooth as possible, we have created this To-Do List with important tasks for you to share with your family and complete before you start classes.

1. Register for Project Serve (optional) June 5
2. Register for Project Marj (optional) July 31

Complete before stated deadline:

3. Schedule Placement Testing ASAP
4. Activate TU Email (Net ID) Account ASAP
5. Complete Online University Housing Request and Submit $350 Deposit
You must: a) submit your Participation Agreement by April 22, then b) activate NetID before you can complete this task. Please note that Capstone housing is not an option for students participating in this program.
May 1 at 5:00 p.m. EST
6. Purchase or Change TU Dining Plan ASAP
7. Complete FTP Academic Interest Form June 15
8. Complete TU Immunization Requirements June 30
9. Register for Pre-Orientation Events June 30
10. Request TU Disability Support Services (optional) If Applicable
11. Register for TU Emergency Text Messaging ASAP
12. Direct FAFSA to CCBC ASAP
13. Attend Financial Aid Workshop or Watch Aid Video TBA
14. Register for Towson Deferred Payment Plan (optional) ASAP

Complete in or Before July:

15. Activate CCBC Account & Access Class Schedule When Notified by CCBC
16. Register for CCBC Payment Plan (optional) When notification received
17. Submit Final Official High School Transcript to TU July 15
18. Complete Religious Interest Form (optional) July 30
19. Get Your TU One Card July 30 (suggested)

Complete in or before August:

20. Pay CCBC Tuition and Towson Student Services Bills August 3
21. Complete AlcoholEDU & Haven Education Programs August 16
22. Purchase Parking for Freshman or Commuters August 17
23. Attend "Welcome to Towson" Orientation Events August 22-25, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. (tentative)
24. Purchase Textbooks After Orientation
25. Review Our Policies and Expectations ASAP
26. Download the TU Mobile App ASAP
