SPRING 2014 FRESHMAN TO-DO LIST

  • Towson University will communicate important information to you using your personal email account and your TU NetID computing account. It is important that you check your TU and personal email account regularly for important information about your transition to Towson University.
  • If you do not receive Towson notifications at these email addresses, please email us your full name, mailing address, and old and new email addresses with “email change” in the subject line to admissions@towson.edu.

Complete Before Your Orientation Date

Deadline/Notes

1. Activate & Regularly Check Your Towson NetID (Email Account) Regularly for Critical Communications  
2. Complete Online University Housing Request and $350 Deposit Due now if you will be living on campus
3. Submit Final Official High School Transcript  
4. Complete Academic Interest Form January 3
5. Request Disability Support Services
6. Complete Immunization Requirements January 8
7. Complete Housing Vaccine and Move-In Requirements January 10
8. Schedule Placement Testing Within two weeks of notification letter
9. Accept Financial Aid Package Within two weeks of notification letter

11. Learn About Student Organizations

 

Complete Before Classes Begin

12. Review Billing, Enroll in e-Rebate/Refund Program and Provide 1098-T Consent Available starting January 17
13. Purchase Parking Permit or Determine Transportation Needs  
14. Purchase Textbooks  
15. Register for Emergency Text Messaging  
16. Purchase or Change Dining Plan February 4
17. Pay Tuition Bill February 4
