The Summer in Maryland program nonrefundable deposit is $200 and must be paid by credit card (preferred) or by wire transfer (additional fees apply). After completing the application form, financial documentation (statement of ability and statement of willingness) and credit card authorization form, all documentation must be submitted to Towson University's International Contracts Office eletronically (in one email with attachments) to firstname.lastname@example.org, or via the postal service (FedEx or DHL) at the following address:

F-1 Visa Overview
Towson University will review your application and contact you if any additional information is necessary. If admitted to the program, the University's International Student & Scholar Office (ISSO) will issue a certificate of eligibility (Form I-20), which will need to be signed and presented to:
a Visa Officer at a U.S. Consulate in order to obtain an F-1 visa
a Customs & Border Protection (CBP) Officer when entering the U.S.
Note that there is an additional SEVIS (I-901) fee and visa interview fee. Additional information regarding the visa process will be mailed with the student's Form I-20.
Health Insurance Requirement
Prior to their arrival in the U.S., students participating in the Summer in Maryland program must purchase health insurance coverage for the entire duration of the program of study. Such plans may be available for purchase through a home institution, travel agency, or from a number of international health insurance companies.
Remittance of Remaining Payment
After obtaining the F-1 student visa and health insurance, students must remit final payment to Towson University prior to arrival.
