Current Chapter Conduct and Disciplinary Status

(As of July 22, 2014)

Alpha Epsilon Pi, Fraternity

University Charge Date: November 5 and November 11, 2013

Endangering conduct that imperils or jeopardizes the health and safety of any person or persons,

incuding oneself (x2)

Violation of published institutional regulations and policies (hazing policy)

The possession or use of alcoholic beverages in the following manner: by any person under 21 years of age; or,...a person 21 years of age or older purchasing for, serving to, or otherwise distributing alcohol to any person who is under 21 years of age.

Sanctions include:

Suspension from Towson University through the fall 2015 semester.

Prior to return, the natioanl office of Alpha Epsilon Pi must meet with the Associate V.P. of Student Affairs to discuss plan for return.

Upon return, the chapter must score at a “Bronze” level or better in the Towson University Chapter Assessment Program (CAP) for the first two semesters back after the national office recruits new members during their re-colonization efforts.  Please go to www.towson.edu/gogreek for more details about the program. Should the organization be able to return following the period of suspension, the organization will be placed on University Probation and Social Probation for a period of 1 calendar year starting at the time of re-recognition.

Alpha Nu Omega, Sorority

Fraternity and Sorority Life Charge Date: July 15, 2014

Failure to obtain a "Bronze" level or better in the Chapter Assessment Program (two semesters in a row)

Sanctions Include:

Suspension from Towson University through the fall 2015 semester.

Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

Fraternity and Sorority Life Charge Date: July 15, 2014

Failure to obtain a "Bronze" level or better in the Chapter Assessment Program (three semesters in a row)

Sanctions include:

Suspension through spring semester 2015

University Charge Date: June, 2014

An ethical leadership/decisioon making workshop developed by the office of leadership and civic engagement.

A hazing workshop developed by an office outside the Office of Fraternity and Sority Life.

 

Phi Mu, Sorority

University Charge Date: April 4, 2014

Sanctions include:

University Probation through the fall semester 2014.

Must adhere to the expectations outlined by the Phi Mu national office's sanctions placed on the chapter fom this incident.

Phi Sigma Kappa, Fraternity (PSK)

Fraternity and Sorority Life Charge Date: July 15, 2014

Failure to obtain a "Bronze" level or better in the Chapter Assessment Program.

Sanctions include:

Social probation through the fall 2014 semester.

University Charge Date: March 5, 2014

Sanctions Include:

Social Probation through March 30, 2015. However, Phi Sigma Kappa may submit a written request on November 15, 2014 to have the Social probation reviewed and removed.

A Hazing and Alcohol Education workshop approved by the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life where a minumum of 80% of brother hood shall be in attendence.

University Probation through March 30, 2015.

Phi Sigma Sigma

University Charge Date:  March 30, 2014

Student Conduct/14. Unauthorized presence in institutional facilities

Sanctions include:

University Probation through the fall semester 2014

A one (1) hour risk management workshop for 80% of sisterhood.

Must submit a detailed desciption of the organization's room decorating policy by September 12, 2014.

Pi Kappa Alpha, Fraternity (PIKE)

University Charge Date: May 6, 2014

Student Conduct/12. Violation of published institutional regulations and policies

Sanctions Include: University Probation through the end of  2014

A one (1) hour ethical decision makeing workshop for 80% of brotherhood.

Sigma Pi Fraternity

Sanctions include: Suspension from Towson University through the summer 2014 semester.
